Active Power Factor Correction Research Modeling and Simulation
For the control loop design, linearized models are required to employ classic control loop design techniques.
The averaged models generally contain nonlinear elements.
To create the linearized models we have two options:

- Linearization by hand using the Taylor Series approximation.
- Linearization by computer simulation.
PSPICE’s AC Sweep linearizes the averaged model to produce data needed for control loop design.
